My aunt Judy lived in a big house in the edge of the woods, with cats that made me itch and a pair of cousins who confused me because I could never quite work out whether they were grown ups or not. She made the best boston baked beans, fruit squares and chocolate brownies, and was always kind and welcoming to her sullen nephew who usually wanted to spend the visit reading or playing on his Game Boy! She played host to some of the great family events, from the Christmas reunions to my grandparents wedding anniversary, and was a great part of the Heppleston family. I will miss her, and send all my love to Roger, Neil and Grace.

Judith was a lovely person to have known and have time with. She was an excellent physiotherapist - one of the best I have had. She had the perfect combination of skills, knowledge and a personality which made the challenging and long process of intense physical rehabilitation relatively easier to deal with. Caring, thoughtful, sensitive, kind, good sense of humour, able to think of ways to try to make physio sessions more manageable and interesting, able to treat me as 'a person' and taking into account different aspects of my life/health/difficulties. I will always be extremely grateful to her for the help and support she gave me and am glad that I knew her.
